The Ulyanovsk State Pedagogical University hosted the IId International Song and Poetry Marathon "Lines scorched by the war..." dedicated to Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War

The UNESCO Chair of the Ulyanovsk State Pedagogical University, together with the Faculty of Foreign Languages, the Preparatory department of the University and the Centers for Open Education in Egypt, Djibouti and Ethiopia, held the IId International Song and Poetry Marathon "Lines scorched by the War ..." dedicated to Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War.

The UNESCO Chair of the Ulyanovsk State Pedagogical University, together with the Faculty of Foreign Languages, the Preparatory department of the University and the Centers for Open Education in Egypt, Djibouti and Ethiopia, held the IId International Song and Poetry Marathon "Lines scorched by the War ..." dedicated to Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War.

The event brought together more than 100 participants from Russia and the countries of Africa, Asia and Central America: China, Egypt, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Benin, Togo, Turkmenistan, Panama, Afghanistan and Chad.

Students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of the French and English departments took an active part in organizing and conducting the Marathon.

The event helped to increase patriotism among young people, foster pride in Russia's historical past and respect for the exploits of the participants of the Great Patriotic War.

During the Marathon, guests were able to listen to poems and songs of the war years performed by Russian and foreign participants, walk the path of a war fighter during the interactive game "From Moscow to Berlin" and take part in the "Postcard of Kindness" campaign.
