Diplomacy of Science of the UNESCO Chair "Environmentally Safe Technologies for Land Reclamation and Water Management" of Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Sibstrin)
On November 18, 2025, the first seminar was held in the conference hall of the Chair's laboratory, organized by Irina Kosolapova, Deputy Head of the UNESCO Chair "Environmentally Safe Technologies for Land Reclamation and Water Management", Director of the Institute of Engineering and Environmental Systems.
On November 18, 2025, the first seminar was held in the conference hall of the Chair's laboratory, organized by Irina Kosolapova, Deputy Head of the UNESCO Chair "Environmentally Safe Technologies for Land Reclamation and Water Management", Director of the Institute of Engineering and Environmental Systems.
The seminar was conducted by undergraduates of the UNESCO Chair for undergraduates of the Institute of Engineering and Environmental Systems in the framework of UNESCO's international direction "Diplomacy of Science" in English.
The students were presented with the activities of the UNESCO Chair and the long-term work plan of the Consortium of UNESCO Chairs in the Siberian region, chaired by the Head of the UNESCO Chair, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Yuri Skolubovich. They were also invited to participate in scientific and educational events of the Consortium.
The undergraduates of the UNESCO Chair presented the relevance and goals of their work, based on some of the goals of the UNESCO organization, based on the materials of international conferences at which they attended.
The event was moderated by Inna Makarikhina, Head of the International Department of UNESCO Chair, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages.
